Syteca 7.9 substantially expanded SaaS deployment support — macOS and Linux Clients became available in SaaS, and a Windows MSI installer was introduced.

7.9.8 (Build 7.9.110)

New features in SaaS version

  • macOS Clients in SaaS. macOS Client computers can now also be monitored in SaaS deployments (similar way to Windows Client computers).
  • Linux Clients in SaaS. Linux Client computers can now also be monitored in SaaS deployments (similar way to Windows Client computers).
  • Windows SaaS Clients — MSI installer. Windows Clients with the default configuration can now also be installed using the Windows Installer Setup Wizard (using the MSI file) in addition to using the command line.
  • Windows SaaS Clients — MSI+INI custom installation. Windows Clients can now also be installed with custom monitoring parameters using the new MSI+INI installation package, defined while generating the package.

7.9.7 (Build 7.9.109)

Issues fixed

  • PAM gateway / jump server — the PAM gateway Client was offline and sessions were not monitored in certain cases when deployed in a failover cluster — high-priority bug fix. See Desktop Connection Manager.

7.9.6 (Build 7.9.90)

Improvements

  • Database structure optimized. Data migration begins after the Application Server starts up. See Update best practice.

Issues fixed

  • Application Server — in certain cases, the EkranServer service was consuming a significant amount of RAM in recent releases.

7.9.5 (Build 7.9.86)

Issues fixed

  • Reports — Terminal Server Grid reports could not be opened in any format when the report size was more than 100 MB.
  • Windows Clients — Windows Clients crashed in certain cases.
  • Windows Clients — an issue with displaying the Windows Client status in certain cases when using a VPN.
  • Pseudonymizer — users were logged out of the Management Tool when attempting to open the Client Sessions tab (on the Monitoring Results page) if the Anonymization feature was enabled.
  • Application Server — Syteca Application Server was consuming a significant amount of RAM while generating reports.
  • Secondary User Authentication — the Secondary User Authentication login window did not respond on Windows Clients when entering an incorrect password.

7.9.1 (Build 7.9.65)
